Aeron RTW Spring 2018

Eszter Áron explored familiar territory for summer, integrating Japanese fabrics and handwoven textiles into her contemporary label’s clean-cut aesthetics.
The Hungarian brand stands for quiet confidence and unfussy femininity. The collection was heavy on neutral tones, with a few feather prints and textures — crisp cotton, silky shirting, canvas and an organic, hand-washable suede — thrown in. Many of the pieces, including batwing sleeve dresses, ankle-length wide-legged pants, jacquard sweaters and long shirtdresses, featured details like trailing cuffs, boxy pockets and a relaxed fit.
The pieces that skewed more masculine stood out the most: the boxy, wide-shouldered cut, as seen on a trenchcoat or in a double breasted blazer dress; a long dress shirt; wide-legged leather trousers, and a spare jumpsuit.
